WTF – Stupid Homophobe Of The Day!

When I need my daily dose of crazy shit to read, I head over to the National Organization For Marriage’s Facebook page, I mean where else can I see people that are obsessed with gay sex, poop (hi Nick Jones!), and Jesus…all on the same page!

Meet Alida Martinez Zervos, our first “Homophobe Of The Day”, Alida loves to go around saying gay people are not “Normal” and that…if gay marriage was legal..people would want to marry their pets (how original, right?)

WTF – National Organization For Marriage Suffers ANOTHER Defeat!

Oh NOM, you’re not having a very good year are you dahlings?

You’ve lost multiple court cases, and heres another one to add to your collection.

The Washington DC Court of Appeals ruled 5-4 this morning to reject a bid to put marriage equality to a public vote.  The Human Rights Campaign reports via press release:

“The court’s ruling today is a significant victory for justice, the rule of law and the protection of all D.C. residents against discrimination,” said Human Rights Campaign President Joe Solmonese. “It’s time for the National Organization for Marriage to realize equality is here to stay no matter how much money they want to throw at turning back the clock.” In its decision, the Court of Appeals, D.C.’s highest court, decided 5-4 that the Council properly exercised its authority under the D.C. Charter in establishing the requirement that a proposed initiative may not authorize, or have the effect of authorizing, discrimination prohibited by the D.C. Human Rights Act.

The Court ruled unanimously that the proposed initiative would in fact impermissibly permit discrimination against gays and lesbians in the District. “The D.C. Council made a wise decision decades ago that no initiative should be permitted to strip away any individual’s civil rights. The Court unanimously found that the proposed anti-marriage initiative would have the effect of causing discrimination, and in doing so, stood up for the entire D.C. community,” said Solmonese.

The HRC notes that while Maryland-based Bishop Harry Jackson (above) is the person most connected with the bid to overturn gay marriage in DC, the driving forces behind the now-failed initiative were the Alliance Defense Fund and NOM. Another win for the good guys today and a big FAIL buzzer for Bishop Harry!

WTF – Fairytale Of New York/Happy Christmas/Maggie Gallagher Can Suck My Dick!

Wow, 2009 is nearly over and what a year it has been, WTFBLOG went from being a lil known blog to getting mentioned on several hundred sites all around the world (not sure how the hell that happened, but I’m not complaining!!)

Anyways, I would like to take this lil opportunity to wish you all an awesome Christmas, I hope Santa brings everyone of you naughty bitches what you want, and if he doesn’t… sue his ass!

WTF – Has NOM FIRED SpokesH0r Carrie Prejean Yet?

She must of being fired by now yeah? I mean, you can’t represent a truthful god fearing organization like the National Organization Against For Marriage while making sex tapes and expect to be employed still?

We’ve just received a press release from Californians Against Hate’s Fred Karger, hypothesizing that the National Organization Against For Marriage has fired it’s dazzling beauty queen, the embodiment of virtue herself, Carrie Prejean. From the press release:

Dear Maggie –

It looks like you fired former Miss California, Carrie Prejean, just like Donald Trump did back in June.

She is no longer on your web site:  nationformarriage.org I called your Washington, DC – PR firm, Mary Beth Hutchins at 703-683-5004 ext. 105, but no one was there to tell me why.   What happened to *”the future of our movement, and the future of America,” as you referred to Carrie just two months ago?

Was it because she lied again? This time she said in numerous interviews that she “made only one sex tape.”  Now it appears to be more like 15 or 20.  We just heard that from the guy she met on My Space.

He also said that Carrie asked him to lie and say that she was only 17 when she made the sex tapes.  In an interview with TMZ’s Harvey Levin, her ex said that she made the tapes when she was from 19 to 21, so not that long ago like Carrie insists.

Why did you take her off your web site?   Did you hear from a lot of your high powered Board of Directors on this?  What about your likely creator and largest backer, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormon Church)?  They gotta be uncomfortable with the whole multiple sex tapes thing.   You sure changed your tune, Maggie.

WTF – Where Is The Prejean Video?

Today is a most glorious day, for it has been revealed that the conservative values preaching former Miss California Carrie Prejean has dropped her lawsuit against the Miss California USA organization because an graphic sex tape of her has allegedly surfaced. Hallelujah.

From TMZ.com:

“They showed her the X-Rated version of Home Alone, starring Carrie herself.

“When the video started playing, Carrie’s first reaction was ‘that’s disgusting’ and Carrie denied it was her.

“Then, the camera angle changed and panned up to her face. She was caught red-handed, so to speak.

“Carrie was rendered speechless and immediately began talking with her lawyer. We’re told it took about 15 seconds for Carrie to drop her $1 million demand.”

Bwahahahahahahahahahahahaha.

It was bound to happen: Every idiot who wants to be famous knows a sex tape can help take a pseudo-celebrity’s D-list status up a couple of notches.

Groups like the National Organization for Marriage defended Prejean when scandalous photos surfaced. I wonder if Maggie Gallagher, president of NOM, and other conservative leaders will come to her rescue now. Family values indeed.

WTF – Maggie Gallagher NAKED!

Well, ok, technically she’s not.

Last October, two guys in West Hollywood hoisted an effigy of then-vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin on their roof, a Halloween decoration that made national news because 1. Palin was shown in a noose. 2. One of the West Hollywood guys had the first name ChadMichael, and all the media outlets managed to spell his name wrong. Well, it’s nearly Halloween again. And two weeks ago, ChadMichael Morrisette and Mito Aviles, who still live at the house on Fountain and Orange Grove* decorated their roof. “The whole theme is the forces of evil of 2009,” according to Morrisette. Actually, the theme is the fight for gay marriage. On the left: Maggie Gallagher, head of the Institute for Marriage and Public Policy; on the right (hanging from the roof), a bloodied and mangled Carrie Prejean aka Miss California.

More about what’s on the roof this year, according to the pair, who work in the window display business: As noted, there’s a mannequin with a photo of Gallager, President of the Institute for Marriage and Public Policy, an organization that opposes gay marriage. She’s also has the word liar written on her stomach. “The reason that she is naked is that we are exposing her lies,” says Morrissette, who calls her a hypocrite for statements he says that she made about educating children about gay marriage.

Glinda, the good witch, is also on the roof, standing next to a Mormon missionary (he’s stuck in a chimney and on fire). Glinda is there to counteract all the evil of the rest of the characters….including Carrie Prejean, the Miss USA 2009 contestant. She’s the gal who said she believed that marriage should be between a man and a woman–and she’s shown chopped in half and bloodied.

Prejean is a “victim of Gallagher’s,” according to Morrissette, because he says her image has been used by the Institute for Marriage and Public Policy. Still, Morrissette said he “doesn’t know how entrenched” Prejean is with Gallagher’s group.

Last year, the Palin decoration didn’t receive much attention until three weeks after it went up. You’ll recall that some neighbors supported the Palin effigy, some people didn’t care, and some people were so embarrassed that they hung sheets in front of house in an attempt to shield the Palin image from passing cars. And then finally, the guys took the mannequin down.

So far, no neighbors have complained this year. ‘Some people have come by, laughed, and taken photos,” said Aviles.

Politics aside, it’s a little unsettling to see naked, bloody, and violent images of women. At least that’s our opinion–and what we told Morrisette this morning. His reply: “Well, it’s Halloween.”

WTF – Join The “National Organization For Marriage Should be BANNED From Facebook” Group!

They said “There’s a storm coming”

Now its OUR TURN.

Time and time again we wonder how such hateful organizations such as the National Organization For Marriage gain and keep followers (we call them sheep).

Offline, they get them in churches, but online its with social networking sites, Facebook and Myspace.

Now think for a second, they control what they want its sheep to hear offline, how do they do it online?

Easy.

They control whats permitted onto their group pages.

If you go into their group and and say you have been with your partner of 10 years, have children and would love to get married, they will erase your post…do you think the same happens to the post where you promptly get called a child molester and a pervert?

No.

Whats beautiful about this, is that by allowing this, they are breaking Facebooks “Statement of Rights and Responsibilities“

Section 3.7 clearly states:

You will not post content that is hateful, threatening, pornographic, or that contains nudity or graphic or gratuitous violence.

Section 3.10

You will not use Facebook to do anything unlawful, misleading, malicious, or discriminatory.

Do you like the fact that they are allowed to break the rules and will continue to do so until WE complain?

Do you like the fact they are using propaganda to take away your rights?

Please join the group, and HELP get NOM banned from Facebook, if they are banned from Facebook they are unable to to spread hate and propaganda, this will HELP the LGBT get the rights they DESERVE!

WTF – And Then She Said “Polygamy is not worse than gay marriage, it is better!”

In an article for the National Review Online, Maggie Gallagher of the National Organization for Marriage has stated that, “Polygamy is not worse than gay marriage, it is better. At least polygamy, for all its ugly defects, is an attempt to secure stable mother-father families for children.”

Now Maggie, that’s hardly ONE MAN AND ONE WOMAN now is it, but lets not be too hard on her, as I’m sure when her school friends were learning about Math, Maggie was behind some shed showing her pussy to anyone that wanted to look.

I am sure Gallagher would feel the same if she were born into a polygamist cult and forced to marry a man at 15 years-old. Or maybe she’d feel great about those “secure stable mother-father families” after her son was abandoned because he’d be competition for the other men in the camp? I’m not sayin’… I’m just sayin’.

Our final words, Polygamy as a concept may not offend dear ol’ Maggie, but ignoring the way that it’s practiced is inexcusable.
