This boycott is outrageous, counter-productive and wrong!

I agree with boycotting companies that supported “Yes on 1″, but that’s not what you’re proposing. You need to do your research before starting a boycott.

You say we should boycott WeightWatchers, Toyota, Hewlett Packard, and Pitney Bowes, but NONE of these companies supported Yes on 1 and NONE OF THEM GAVE MONEY TO IT.

In each of these giant companies only ONE employee donated $100 to the cause – an employee, NOT the company. Campaign finance laws require individual donors to list their employer’s name. Employers have no control on who their employees donate to.

To the contrary, companies like Hewlett Packard would never support Yes on 1. Did you forget that they scored 100 on the Human Rights Campaign’s Corporate Equality Index?

Come on people! Get real!
