It has been confirmed, after 7½ years of marriage the celeb couple are calling it quits. So so sad.
Madonna‘s publicist, Liz Rosenberg, confirmed the media speculation on Wednesday, saying that the singer and her husband, film director Guy Ritchie, will divorce after 7½ years of marriage.
A statement, e-mailed to The Associated Press from Rosenberg, said that the couple had agreed to divorce, and requested the media maintain respect their privacy.
The statement, co-signed by Ritchie’s representative, said the couple have not agreed to a settlement.
And there’s A LOT to settle! Madonna is worth a reported $500 million +.
Seriously though, a divorce is difficult enough…but a divorce with the whole world watching your every more must be a total bitch.
